Took the train to the cable car and took that up to the monastery and big buddha (largest seated bronze buddha apparently). Then we had a look at a fishing village and jumped on a boat to see the famous white dolphin... which we didnt see and something tells me that it isnt seen very often. In fact it could be extinct.
We were going to go to Disney Land after, but it was 4pm already and we went shopping instead. We had some nice japanese food and followed that up with a movie (the secret life of Walter Mitty) which was one of the best I had seen in a long long time.

Lastly we did a spot of shopping. Alice brought some shoes but I couldnt find any that I really liked (except these that Alice refused to buy me).
Loving the photos. Really get a taste of your travels. Just wondered which one was the big Buddha! and Alice shame on you. You would never have lost Nick in those shoes …especially if he wore them on his ears!
ReplyDeleteWe still have Jack and Fe with us and having a few adventures. Did some baking this morning and have been for a couple of trips to the beach. John has finished one paddock of barley and we are free for a week so will head up to Twizel tomorrow to return the boys and catch Sarah's concert. Might even fit in some fishing and biking.
Well I preferred the Gorilla ones myself but Nick didn't like those!
